Terms of Business
Please read carefully
All sessions must be paid for in full on the day of the treatment. I accept cheques, cash or a bank transfer (please ask me for the details)
Session fees will be charged in full if an appointment is broken or cancelled without 24hrs notice
If a pre-booked session is cancelled within 24hrs of appointment time the appointment will be lost
No dogs admitted suffering from contagious or infectious conditions including ear, eye and skin conditions or open wounds
Whilst every care possible is taken of dogs undergoing treatment and in the maintenance of the water and equipment, all dogs receive treatment entirely at their owner’s risk
Bitches in season or in whelp may not use the equipment
Dogs must be as clean as possible
Dogs must have been referred by a veterinary surgeon before the first treatment
Owners are requested not to feed their dog at least 3hrs before a session and to make sure the dog has toileted before arrival
It is the owner’s responsibility to clean up after their dogs and to bring disposal bags in case of accidents
A surcharge of £150 will be levied if a dog defecates in the tank
All dogs must be kept on a lead and under control when at HandsOnHounds premises
There are no facilities for children, please ensure they are under control and do not allow them to touch any equipment within the Clinic
HandsOnHounds reserve the right to use video recording and photographs taken during a session
HandsOnHounds reserve the right to refuse treatment to any dog
If late for a session at HandsOnHounds I will allocate the remainder of the session time but cannot extend into the next appointment
Upon arrival please ring the bell on the left hand side of the clinic and wait for me to come out. This is for the safety of all dogs as there may be another dog still on the premises
